Caring for your artwork:

Oil Paintings: Your oil painting will be dry to the touch and ready for you to enjoy.  Please give it at least a few months of curing time before framing.  It may be safely varnished and framed after one full year of curing time.  If  you choose to varnish and frame earlier, please wait a minimum of six months before varnishing.  If you choose to frame earlier, please apply small spacers at the corners to prevent the paint from adhering to your frame over time.  For general care, your painting may be dusted gently with a soft cloth or soft haired brush.  Please do not hang your painting in direct sunlight.  For varnishing services and fees, click here.  Enjoy!

Watercolors/Dry Media: Watercolors and dry media artworks need to be framed as soon as possible.  The artist  recommends  museum board matting and backing boards (acid free outer papers and inner core) behind non-glare UV protection Glazing*.  Please do not hang your drawing in direct sunlight.  *The glazing provides  protection from dust, pollution, and harmful UV light.  The non-glare gives you the joy of viewing your work from all angles!
